Pardon Our Dust

From the desolate look of this site, you would be correct in assuming that we're still working on getting this thing going.

Things will look a lot better once we actually launch!

In the meantime, you can read the series of posts that spawned this blog.

About This Blog

Eventually, you will see this blog accrue posts about frozen food, fast food, instant food, and any other food item that strikes our fancy.

The entire purpose of this blog is to cover in great depth the kinds of things we'd grab in the store as kids only to hear Mom say "put that back!"

Because now we're adults and can make our own dietary decisions.

Things you can expect from this blog:

Let's Eat: a series about new and limited time fast food offerings, posted to Twitter from the restaurant in question, as the food is consumed.

Frozen food and instant food reviews: We'll grab a product off of the frozen aisle, go through any necessary preparation, and see if it's any good.  Will be a mixture of new products and ones that have existed for a while that for whatever reason we've never tried before.  Reviews should be accompanied by pictures of the package, directions, and product where relevant.

Hopefully, we will have at least one video series, posted on our YouTube channel.  We currently lack the necessary equipment (HD video camera, tripod, boom mic, etc.) to make this happen.  If we do film within a public establishment, we'll either obtain permission to film within the establishment(s) as relevant, or take it outside to the car or even back to one of our homes.  We don't want to step on any toes, or get banned from any stores or restaurants.

We strive to do all of this with a decent balance of professionalism and informality, aiming for high-quality content produced independently for a general audience.  We will never accept money from the companies whose products we review for any purpose (including but not limited to bribery for a good review), though if they'd like to send us food, we're totally game.  In that regard, we will maintain a policy of full disclosure, because we're honest and ethical people.

We also hope to build up a community to interact with on a daily basis, and plan to accept requests for reviews from said community.  Collaborations with other food reviewers would be awesome.
